"Tip on Time"

It's amazing how many times I've seen a guest come into the golf shop two minutes before their reservation to check in, panting because they have been running from their vehicle trying not to be late. This is not a practice I would recommend. When someone is rushed and hurried, it creates tension throughout their entire body and tension is a killer of the golf swing. What separates the good players from the not-so-good players is the ability to relax and swing without tension. An excellent way to combat tension is to arrive for your tee time thirty minutes in advance and get a small bucket to hit. This will also give you a proper sense of timing, which is crucial in the golf swing. If time does not allow, the minimum arrival should be fifteen minutes prior so that you can check into the golf shop, casually make your way to the first tee and stretch. Make sure you stretch your back and shoulder muscles, as well as your hamstrings. If you follow my advice, I guarantee your game will improve.
